Qoves Studio is known for in-depth facial aesthetics analysis and educational content about facial attractiveness. People looking for an alternative usually want something faster and cheaper to start with: instant measurements they can explore on their own, and a practical styling plan rather than a long written analysis. This guide explains what an instant AI facial esthetics report can and can't do compared with an expert-led analysis.

Instant analysis vs. expert analysis
An expert-led report can weigh context that a scan can't: soft-tissue quality, how your face moves, and nuanced trade-offs between features. An instant AI report is faster, cheaper and repeatable, and it's transparent when the formulas are published. Many people start with an instant scan to understand their proportions, then decide whether they need more.
What TheFaceRating does
- Free on-device scan. Google's MediaPipe Face Landmarker places 478 landmarks on your photo inside your browser. The free measurements never upload your photo.
- Transparent formulas. Every tool page lists the exact landmarks and formulas, from symmetry to canthal tilt and side profile.
- No account to start. You don't need to sign up to scan; an email is only needed for purchases and the Studio.
- Styling on your own photo. The paid report renders 14 identity-preserving try-ons (6 hairstyles, 4 necklines, 4 frames) on your real selfie, plus your 12-season palette.
- One-time pricing. Reports are a single payment ($7.99, $16.99 or $24.99). There is no subscription.
- Short retention. Uploaded selfies are deleted within 2 hours and free scan results after 48 hours.

Styling, not surgery
We deliberately stay in the styling lane: haircuts, necklines, eyewear and color. These are reversible, affordable and change perceived harmony more than most people expect. If you're considering medical or surgical changes, talk to a qualified, board-certified professional in person.
How to use the free scan as a first step
- Run the attractiveness test to see your harmony score and regional breakdown.
- Open the tool for your lowest region to see the exact measurement and the styling moves that address it.
- If you want to see the results, unlock the report to render hairstyles, necklines and frames on your photo.
Take a scan-ready photo before comparing anything
Every face analysis tool, ours included, is only as good as the photo. Before you compare results between services, use the same photo for all of them and make it a good one:
- Distance: hold the phone at arm's length, or have someone take it from 1.5–2 m with the rear camera. Close selfies enlarge the nose and narrow the jaw.
- Height: camera at eye level. Shooting from below widens the jaw; from above shrinks the chin.
- Light: face a window in daylight. Overhead bulbs cast eye shadows that hide eye-corner landmarks.
- Expression: neutral and relaxed, mouth closed, looking into the lens.
- Hair: off the forehead and behind the ears so face width can be measured.
If two services disagree, a better photo usually closes most of the gap. The photo A/B battle can tell you which of your photos is the most faithful.
Reading your regional breakdown
The attractiveness test groups the 11 measurements into five regions: eyes, proportions, jaw and chin, nose and mouth, and symmetry. Read it like a coach would:
- Your strongest region is what to frame. If it's the eyes, choose frames and brows that draw attention there.
- Your weakest region is where styling has the most leverage. Each region links to the tool that measures it in detail, with the specific haircut, neckline or frame moves that help.
- A flat profile (all regions similar) usually means balanced proportions, so your color season and grooming matter more than shape corrections.

TheFaceRating's facial measurements are free in your browser, and the full styling report is a one-time payment from $7.99.

What does the facial esthetics report include?
Your 11 proportions, face shape, color season, 14 try-ons on your photo, a styling guide, and on Pro and VIP a 30-day plan and Studio credits.
Is my data private?
The free scan runs on your device. With consent, photos for AI features are deleted within two hours and never used for training.
Can I get a printable report?
Yes. The Pro and VIP reports include a printable version of your measurements, palette, try-ons and styling plan.
